Product Design Challenge – Samsonite Survival

The brief was to design a new rucksack that incorporates a shelter for a survival situation of my choice for Samsonite.

I initially researched the Samsonite brand, looking at their rucksacks and also looked at different types of tents. I researched the method of manufacture, materials used and product purpose.

My design was for a rucksack that would incorporate a small tent and emergency devices such as a removable solar panel.
