Rotary Engine (museum model)

For this project, I created a 2:3 simplified interactive model of a Wankel engine (Rotary engine) to be displayed and interacted with inside a museum. Created with Fusion 360 using PLA, MDF, acrylic, bolts and finished with cellulose spray paint. The model features a rotating handle at the rear, which spins the rotor inside the engine as well as 3 LEDs which show the air/ fuel mixture entering, combusting and leaving the engine, all manually wired and soldered together.
